Company registration in Peru

A Peruvian S.A.C. is formed by reserving the name at SUNARP, signing a public deed of constitution before a notary and having the notary file it through SID-SUNARP, after which the company registers for a RUC with SUNAT. Foreign founders trip on formalities: any foreign document must be apostilled and officially translated, and the deed is signed before a Peruvian notary, so a local proxy is the usual route.
