Company registration in Turkey

A Turkish Limited Şirket is created by drafting the company contract in the Ministry of Trade's MERSİS system, then having the founders or their proxies verify signatures at the Trade Registry Directorate, which registers the company the same day. Foreign founders trip on paperwork rather than ownership: apostilled and translated documents, a Turkish tax number before MERSİS entry, and the minimum capital of TRY 50,000.
