|---|---|
| Registry | State Enterprise Centre of Registers – Register of Legal Entities |
| Government filing fee | €30.83 — EUR 30.83 for registering a UAB and EUR 17.13 for a small partnership (MB), per the Centre of Registers e-guide; the fee is paid in the self-service system after the documents are signed. |
| Registration time | Electronic self-service: 'If no discrepancies are found, the Company is registered within 1 working day'; registrations of changes are made within 3 working days. |
| Resident director | The registry's rules let a foreign natural person with a foreign address be registered as manager, but none of the official pages consulted states a residency requirement either way. |

| Minimum capital | EUR 1,000 (UAB) |
| Corporate tax | 17 % from 2026 (16 % for 2025); small companies: 0 % for the first two tax periods under conditions and otherwise 7 % (revenue up to EUR 300,000, up to 10 employees). |
